Breakthrough Shoe Designer Of the Year to Visit Shhh...
Were really excited and happy to announce that the wonderful designer and lovely personality that is Minna Parikka ( recently awarded breakthrough designer of the year 2011 by Fuenso Special Jury Award ) will be visiting our little shoe shop next thursday, the 1st of December all the way from Helsinki.
This is your chance to meet one of the upcoming and influential shoe designers working in the world at this moment, having been in love with shoes all her life Minna's designs express the playful and feminine characters of a woman's style...
Minna's shoes have graced the feet of the glitterati, including Lady Gaga, Fergie, Paloma Faith and Beth Ditto, Minna has also been featured in Vouge, Elle, Marie Clare, Grazia, GLamour, Colleziono, Tatler, Harpers Bazzar ... the list is endless. Cited as one for the future we fell in love with Minna and her shoes after first meeting in Paris and now we hope you get a chance to fall in love with her too.
You will have the time to view and discuss her shoes, what its like to launch and build a shoe business, how she gets her influence for design and how she see's Women and Woman's fashion business, what its like to appear in the fashion rags, in fact anything you've ever wanted to ask a designer.
As ever we will be focusing on Minna's designs for our event, doors are at 7, tickets are free but we have limited the numbers,we've had to be a little tighter this week, so please as always if you do book tickets PLEASE ensure you arrive in good time so as not to keep the group waiting and if you cannot attend PLEASE release your tickets back so we can offer the space to someone else.
This is a great opportunity to meet a newly established designer , one who's meteoric rise has not tainted her personality and reflects very highly in the standards of her shoes and new designs.
